	A special version of the standard BRATON rifle with a slower fire rate but offering higher accuracy and damage values. The BRATON VANDAL has been customized by the Tenno with a blue-green metallic finish, and Lotus branding on the grips.
–In-Game Description

A special edition Braton sold in the store as of February 15, 2013 to celebrate the Open Beta. It is a recoloured model that sports some different stats and a Lotus decal.

Characteristics

Advantages:

• Accurate for close to medium ranged combat, more so than the standard Braton.
• Very low recoil.

Disadvantages:

• Still inefficient for long ranges unless fired in bursts.
• Rather slow base reload speed.
• Lower fire rate than the regular Braton

Acquisition

This weapon was only available for purchase during the Open Beta Celebration Weekend (Closed Beta hotfix 6.3) starting from Friday, February 15 at 12:00pm EST thru Tuesday, February 19 until 9:00am EST. It could be bought for 1File:Creditsicon.png(credit) only, so it could be immediately acquired by anyone who logged on during the open beta weekend.

Tips

• When used extensively or playing solo, the ammunition of an unmodded Braton Vandal can burn down quickly, though not as quickly as the Braton. Consider switching to your pistol or utilizing melee combat when appropriate.
• When fighting at long ranges, consider firing in short bursts or taking a calculated risk and charging forward. The ammo saved from avoiding sustained long range fighting can compensate for the damage you'll take in melee combat.
