These power gauntlets lack the range of most melee weapons, but FURAX is far more devastating when you strike an enemy in close combat.

Used by Grineer PowerfistsFurax has a higher base charge damage compared to most other melee weapons. However, the Furax has a much more limited strike range that manifests as a simple close range thrust, making connecting with a charged attack slightly more difficult.


This is a Blunt weapon.

  • Effective against Grineer due to armor ignore.
  • 300% charge attack damage on (non-Ancient) Infested and on execution attack of downed enemy
  • When you do a jump attack anyone hit by the AOE will get knocked down
  • It has an awesome effect if elemental mods are added on

  • When using these remember that you must be really close and therefore expect yourself to be vulnerable to staggers, knockdowns and knockbacks.
  • When fighting sprint around while charging and turn to hit at last second then run away for another charge. Basically keep moving or do some evasive maneuvers like roll.
  • Occasionally, you may find it hard to hit an enemy even if they are directly in front of you. This may be a small mesh problem associated with the weapons short range.
  • If you're using Ash or Loki, use Smoke Screen/Invisibility and attack with charge attacks. Guaranteed criticals will double the base charge attack to 300.
  • The execution blow has a small AOE which only effects the units slightly overlapping the executed unit.
  • Using Reach can effectively aid in hitting targets from slightly further away.


  • Slide attack deals 75 dmg.
  • Jump attack direct hit deals 35 additional dmg.
  • Regular melee attacks do 25 dmg to light infested, charge does 300% to non-ancient infested.
  • Crit chance seems to be around 15% - 20% (Needs confirmation!)
  • Execution attack damage is a flurry of punches, each dealing around 30 damage. You're immune to knockdown during the time the damage is dealt.
